Description

For this board, black walnut strips were arranged so the light sapwood forms sweeping diagonal bands against the dark heartwood, giving it a sense of motion you won’t find in a typical striped board.

At one end, a wide band of sapwood gives the board a striking two-tone look. Chamfered edges give it a clean, modern profile. Use it for daily prep or as a serving board for the table.

Care

Hand wash with warm, soapy water and towel dry. Never soak or put in the dishwasher.
Re-oil with food-safe mineral oil or board butter whenever the wood starts to look dry.

Handmade in Texas. Because every board is cut from its own piece of lumber, you’ll receive the exact board pictured.
